Death Birds

Death Birds : are mysterious creatures that are in fact a variety of bat that has a penchant for human blood.  This is how they attained their name death birds.  The archeologist Byron de Prorok is said to have learned of this phenomenon in 1936, while traveling through southern Ethiopia.  The death birds were said to inhabit Devil's Cave - a cursed cavern near Lekempti.  It was here that de Prorok encountered the bats.  See also: zooform Phenomena.
