Obercit, Johnan Hermann

Johnan Hermann Obercit was a Swiss mystic and alchemist and he was born in 1725. He strove to find the philosopher's stone and revive his family's fortune, trying to depend on contact with God instead of scientific skills. The authorities banned his operations due to a public health risk and he left to reside in the Alps. He claimed that he married a seraphic shepherdess called Theantis.
